Job Description

We take great pride in our engineering approach to the construction business, and project managers can expect to be involved with project from the design phase (design-build and design-assist) all the way through the application of the design and completion of the project.

Some project managers are licensed professional engineers. This gives unlicensed project managers the opportunity to enhance his or her knowledge through peer-to-peer interaction.

In addition to the daily interaction with peers and senior project managers, who serve as a daily mentor to support growth as a project manager, we have weekly project manager meetings, monthly project financial reviews, and semi-annual employee reviews.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will assist and support mid-senior project managers in all phases of electrical work including project acquisition (identification, estimating strategy, cost/proposal development, negotiation, value engineering, site logistics review, pre-fabrication planning), project preconstruction (team development, planning, procurement), project construction (scheduling, team/relationship building, change management, issue resolution, cost projections, billing), and project close-out (final documentation, owner training, contract reconciliation, final billing).

Task / Percentage of time spent duty:

  • Project Acquisition – 30%
  • Project Preconstruction – 20%
  • Project Construction – 40%
  • Project Close-Out – 10%
